  • 50 grams     coconut oil
  • 14 grams      beeswax
  • 11 grams       menthol
  • 3 grams        jojoba oil
  • 3 grams        vitamin e oil
  • 22 ml             peppermint essential oil
  • 18 ml              camphor essential oil
  • 15 ml              cajeput essential oil
  • 2 ml               clove essential oil
  • air tight jars or tins
  • small heat resistant pitcher or bowl
  • small whisk or spoon
  • scale
  • measuring cylinder, preferably in ml for accurate measuring
  • pot to create a double boiler

ingredients for pain relief balm with cinnamon essential oil

  • 60 grams     coconut oil
  • 14 grams      beeswax
  • 14 grams       menthol
  • 2 grams        jojoba oil
  • 2 grams        vitamin e oil
  • 15 grams       camphor essential oil
  • 8 ml                cajeput essential oil
  • 8 ml                peppermint essential oil
  • 7 ml                clove essential oil
  • 3 ml                cinnamon essential oil

 

  • air tight jars or tins
  • small heat resistant pitcher or bowl
  • small whisk or spoon
  • scale
  • measuring cylinder, preferably in ml for accurate measuring
  • pot to create a double boiler

instructions

1.  add all ingredients, except the essential oils, to a heat resistant bowl or small pitcher.

2. heat ingredients in double boiler until everything is melted.

3. stir gently with a whisk or spoon to combine ingredients well, making sure beeswax is completely melted.

4. turn off heat and slowly add all essential oils.

5. stir your liquid mixture slowly to mix in the essential oils. 

6. if you used a bowl, scoop your liquid oil mixture very carefully into air tight jars or tins.

if you used a pitcher, also very carefully, pour your oil mixture into air tight jars or tins.

7. let your pain relief balm cool and settle over night.
